This gravestone of Albert C. Tullis is in Morris Hill Cemetery, Boise, Ada County, Idaho. Albert was born May 16, 1868, and died February 10, 1906. The inscription on the base says "Killed in snowslide on Thunder Mountain Trail."
Based on census records, it appears that Albert was born in Indiana, a son of John S. Tullis (b. abt. 1828) and his wife Margaret. And it appears likely that John was a son of Arthur C. Tullis and Mary Silvers. Arthur was a son of John Tullis and Eleanor Cornwell, as indicated in their Family Bible. (See The Tullis Tracer, Vol. 2, No. 2, for a transcription of their Bible.) If anyone can confirm this information, please contact the Editor, Tom Tullis (TomTullis@aol.com).
